It’s vital that you get your WordPress Hosting right. You need the latest version of php and you need to be sure that you can recover from disaster by way of a good backup system (that covers the database and all files). You also need a rock solid, SEO friendly theme with a few trusty plugins thrown in.

If you would like to design your own WordPress site and just want the basic setup doing, we have the perfect plan.

 

Option 1 – New WordPress Site (no design work) £250

You get…..

  1.  .com or .co.uk domain name (unlimited bandwidth & webspace)
  2. Domain control panel.
  3. POP boxes with SMTP sending.
  4. WordPress installed (admin setup, permalinks done and some basics)
  5. Catalyst framework theme with Dynamic child theme installed ( rock solid theme worth $99).
  6. Slidedeck installed (worth $99).
  7. Backupbuddy installed (worth $75).
  8. Useful free plugins installed (eg WP Super Cache, Google XML sitemaps, Wp Touch, Order Post Types, 301 redirects, WP Maintenance, CTC, Twitter for WordPress)

 

I will transfer you existing WordPress site by installing backupbuddy in your current plugins folder. I can then transfer the domain (using A record changes, Nameserver changes or TAG transfer – whichever suits you best) to my hosting.  The site will be cleaned up  and will be fully operational. Slidedeck and backupbuddy will be reinstalled along with a Catalyst/Dynamic theme (unactivated).  If you need a few other plugins installing (eg Wp Super Cache, Google XML sitemaps, Wp Touch, Order Post Types, 301 redirects, Platinum SEO, WP Maintenance), I’d be pleased to do so.
